The gloss bottle green 996 built for real road trips

About the build

This is the car that started the Tej Drives road-doc direction — a green 996 built around real seat time, mountain roads, towing logistics, prep work, and the kind of driving that needs planning before the road starts.

Our Approach
  • Reliable before aggressive

Maintenance, fluids, brakes, tires, and basic checks come before chasing power or looks.

  • Set up for real roads

The car is being shaped around mountain roads, long drives, rough pavement, and seat time — not garage trophies.

  • Low, but usable

The stance matters, but the car still has to load on a trailer, clear driveways, and survive road trips.

  • Driver confidence first

Brakes, tire pressure, steering feel, suspension behavior, and visibility all matter more than spec-sheet flex.

  • Content with a purpose

Every trip, prep job, and road doc feeds the bigger Tej Drives story: older Porsches, real roads, driver builds.
